Happy Birthday and Happy Kitchen

After 5 weeks, the kitchen was finally completed on Tuesday 22nd, so you cannot imagine the relief in the Smith household. Have to say it looks fantastic, but not currently sad enough to take a picture of it and post it on here. Instead, there is a picture of me on my birthday in Stockholm, behaving in a proffesional manner. Maybe a picture of the kitchen would be more attractive so see what I can do in the near future. Have plenty of decorating to do in the meantime, together with fitting skirting boards and plenty of other little bits that one never thinks about but still need doing. Oh yes, and the lovely new bike broke down. The immobiliser failed, which meant it would not start and was carted off in the back of a van back to the dealer. Technology...
