Gaz & Mel's UK side Wedding & BBQ

We have spent the past 2 days in Gloucester catching up with many of Simon's old school friends, including Gaz, who is back for a few weeks in the UK after marrying his sweetheart Mel in Oz back in March. It was a great party with a fab hog roast which was followed by a BBQ at Gary's parents house the following day. As you can see from the photo George was enjoying cooking a BBQ too!

France

We are back from spending 4 days in Provence with Paulie and friends. It was Paul's 40th(!) and he is also moving to Australia, so 2 good reasons for a get together. We were about 10 miles east of Montelimar, in a lovely old farmhouse. The picture is of George with Gordon Griffin, whose website I built a few years ago. Gordon is the most accomplished narrators around, having recorded nearly 400 audio-books over the years. Naturally, he was the best at reading to George. We have a great video clip of this, but putting it here is beyond me for now as it would involve a lot of work. The little man found the pool a bit too cold, so we were happy just to have some short walks and we also managed a morning in Montelimar without George as he had fun with his uncle Paul. I've also managed to register with Facebook, although the jury is out on whether it was worth it.

The budding chef!

George and I had fun making biscuits, shaped like trains, aeroplanes and dinosaurs! Needless to say, eating them is just as much fun for George! His new named apron is a real winner for this activity - thanks to the Toye family.
