Back from the Big Apple and Boston

Back from a hectic but enjoyable trip to the US. I flew to NY Friday 8th and saw my first baseball game on Saturday (NY Mels and LA Dodgers), together with the women's final at the US Open tennis. I was pleased to see Sharapova win, given that she has worked so hard to get were she is and to say she was pleased was an understatement. My conference in Boston was excellent, although pretty full on so I did net get to see much of the place, besides some shopping at Banana Republic, a shop I actually enjoy shopping in! George and Sharon went to see our friends Ian and Angela in Poole the weekend I was away.
